And second of all, to my friends and readers, thank you for being so patient with me this past month. My unanticipated hiatus from the blogging world was due to a few reasons. The first, which I explained previously, was due to a rather busy and overwhelming real life. I only have one more work-related class, and then things should even out, so worry not: Wordy Warrior is back!
The second reason was more or less related to my lack of motivation to write. Which is funny that I say that, since when I started, I had ample ideas overflowing, to the point where I was jotting down passing ideas during my breaks at work. I think the biggest cause was that I had cornered myself into writing strictly leadership-based posts, when I had created this blog to be an outlet for my opinions. In the end, I was writing what I thought people wanted to see, instead of writing for myself. So my goal is to strike a balance between the serious, constructive posts, and the silly, worthless, sarcastic posts I’ve been suppressing from the beginning.
On a final note, I regrettably must tell you that while I promise to remain active, I can’t promise to adhere to my previous schedule of updating daily. My goal is to do an update at least twice a week, but between a full-time job and actually playing World of Warcraft, updating more than twice a week is a little unrealistic. With that said, thanks again, and expect a new post within a day or so.

What? I get first comment??
In that case, let me be the first to welcome you back. I was beginning to wonder if we’d lost you forever! Glad to see that’s not the case. And the new art is very nice!
Can’t wait to read more.
Hey! This is my first time here and I’ve managed to read the entire thing. I love it. I bet you were expecting more but thats about it. O is there any sort of advice you can give me to help rekendle (spelling? No thats not it @ all o well) My wifes love for the game. She really really really got bored with Raiding, but thats all she really wants to do (in a less Hardcore sense). She is a lore junkie, She loves to down bosses. The only thing i can think of myself is
A: (obviously going to be a part in it.) Raid less
B: Start trying to get her to PVP
C: Get her to try the last aspect of the game. Tanking (pre-BC she was pally heals, BC she was Rogue dps, and now she is Druid Heals)
D. is a change of faction in order (we are horde, she plays a cow and doesnt like the jokes).
YW for the wall of text.
I also dig the way you write. Somthing about it is just right.
And I have a crush on Disney princesses. (Its little mermaid in PLATE!!)
Welcome back
Yours is the blog that convinced me it was time for me to start one too. Looking forward to seeing many great new posts.
Bel
Love the redesign, and good to see you back.
sooo… where are the kitten pics?
wb!
Yeah and what did you name the kitten? Inquiring minds want to know! About cats, apparently…
@ Matthew:
Raiding can become a bit monotonous, especially these days. My way to overcome my boredom:
1- Join a guild full of fun people you can relate to. Or in my case, I created such a guild. Regardless of how bored I can get with the game, though, the friends I’ve made in this game make it worth logging in.
2- Make alts to play in the spare time between raids. It’s especially fun if the two of you level together.
3- Play less. Sometimes just playing less and doing other things makes you appreciate the game a lot more. If you keep a busy schedule, the few minutes you can play will feel like they’re earned.
And yeah, I was always a huge fan of the Disney style. Besides, I wanted my banner to be a little lighter and more cheery than the other styles I enjoyed, and I do NOT do anime. So Disney it was!
@ Vivec and Sargeras:
We ended up naming him Zedd (short for Zeddicus Z’ul Zorander), a mutual favorite character from a fantasy series we both enjoy. I’ll try to upload the pictures when I can, but they’re not very good. He doesn’t look nearly as cute in photo as he does in person.
Welcome back, I’d been wondering where you went. Your site was one of the ones I read while making the decision to launch my own blog. We definitely share an interest in guild leadership, but if you feel the urge to be opinionated, sarcastic and silly, go for it! I know I’ll feel right at home, as that would describe most of my guildmates, and I like them just the way they are!
Glad to see you’ve got the commenting in order and the ideas will all come back in due time. As one that’s adhered to a simple twice/week posting schedule or less blogging-wise, I think you’ll find that your site may very well be the better for it.
Really love the design. Looking forward to reading your novel length posts again
Veneretio’s last blog post..From Clicks to Keybindings: Movement
Ha! Great name for the cat. I love the Sword of Truth series. May your kitten grow to be as insightful and inspiring as Zedd himself! (Though I think Zedd liked being scratched behind the ears, too…)
@ Tharavol:
He’s certainly living up to his name in every way possible. Flamboyant and always hungry!
Wow… I’ve expected you to take a longer break, but this is also great! Welcome back! Seems I have some reading to do.
As for the new banner and background, it’s really something. Kinda looks like Issa from Least I Could Do (http://tinyurl.com/r3tu2h). Well, kinda.
